Terms & Conditions

1. Services

Kingston Website Design ("we", "us") provides custom website design and development for clients ("you", "the client"). Most projects cost between $50 and $200 CAD, depending on the size of the website and the features you choose. See our Services page for details.

2. Domain names

We do not pay for domain names. The cost of buying and renewing a domain name (for example, yourbusiness.ca) is paid by the client. We can help connect the domain to your new website, but all domain fees and renewals are paid by you directly to whichever company you buy it from.

3. Hosting

Website hosting is not included in the project price unless we agree otherwise in writing. Choosing a hosting company is up to you, and any hosting fees are paid by the client.

4. SEO & hosting setup

Setting up hosting and SEO (helping your website show up on Google) is the client's responsibility. We design and build the website, but we do not handle hosting setup or SEO work.

5. Payment

No deposit is required. Payment is due in full once the website is finished and you've approved it, before it goes live. Payment is in Canadian dollars (CAD).

6. Revisions

Each package includes a set number of design changes, listed on our Services page. Extra changes beyond that may cost more, agreed in writing before the work starts.

7. Content & images

The client provides or approves the text and images used on the website, and confirms they have the right to use them. We can help find stock images on request.

8. Ownership

Once full payment is received, the client owns the final website files and content. Third-party services, fonts, and images remain subject to their respective licenses.

9. Liability

Our responsibility is limited to the amount paid for the project. We are not responsible for any losses caused by other companies you use, such as your domain, hosting, or email provider.
